Edge banding is a covering material for the cut surfaces of artificial boards such as particle board, MDF, multi-layer board, and eco-board. Its core four functions are: moisture-proof and waterproofing, sealing the substrate (reducing the release of harmful substances), preventing edge cracking and collision damage, and enhancing decoration and aesthetics

Processing methods (production applications)

1. Fully automatic edge sealing machine

EVA hot melt adhesive, PUR hot melt adhesive, laser edge sealing; suitable for straight panel pieces, with stable edge sealing quality.

2. Soft forming edge sealing

Specifically for arcs, irregular shapes, pull-handle-free grooves, equipped with soft forming edge sealing machine.

3. Manual / On-site edge sealing

Self-adhesive backing tape, U-shaped snap strips; mostly used for on-site drilling, repair, small batch irregular shapes, not suitable for damp main load-bearing panel pieces, durability is weaker than machine edge sealing.
